SMAC Consultants, LLC (SMACC) has a great opportunity for a career-oriented Interagency OPS SME with duties at Fort Meade, Maryland to support sophisticated full-spectrum multi-domain operations. The selected individual will support classified programs and organizations that leverage state-of-the-art RF satellite communications systems, sensors, and technologies to conduct global Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions. The individual selected will work with vetted experts throughout the IC and lead operations, training, and liaise with DoD customers. Assignment duties may include advanced signal analysis and management tasks such as development of requirements, in-depth SIGDEV research, and generating documentation to highlight SIGINT capabilities and IC efforts to collect, process, analyze, and exploit foreign air, space, missile, and cyber threats.
** The primary duties for this position will be accomplished Monday to Friday during the normal day; however, the employee has the flexibility to work outside of standard business hours. This key position has unique boundaries that conforms to the strengths and vision of the trusted hire. Selected individual may travel to the Ohio, Georgia, Colorado, and field sites on an as-needed basis for training and mission requirements. **
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support the development, integration, and maintenance of signal analysis software, data management, and RF database systems supporting the Intelligence Community
- Identify operational gaps, develop strategies, and evaluate system performance
- Perform signal analysis on data retrieved from ground, air, and national platforms
- Develop supporting documentation to assist engineers in providing new and/or modifying existing SIGINT collection systems to satisfy mission requirements
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, signal collection equipment, and signal analysis software to maximize support for the workforce.
- Develop, execute, test, and refine systems and processes.
- Train new team members (may include military personnel)
- Identify access points and coordinate tasking with TOPIs
- Access battle rhythm, operational planning, and determine vulnerabilities
- Identify and create organizational goals
- Advise decision-makers select feasible opti
- Discover and characterize RF emitters, anomalies, and technology threats
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science, Math or Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Satellite ground system or other RF system engineering
- RF communications systems, signal analysis, and protocol analysis
- Identification of RF systems, technologies, and emitters
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter that requires no supervision
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Special Background Investigation
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of related experience
- Advance Signal Analysis and Subject Matter Expertise highly desired
- Leadership or Project Management
- Familiarity with NASIC and components within the IC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience with system deployments, ground sensors, and ISR capabilities
